My name is Jasmine and I am a single 26 year old girl, I live in Los Angeles and don't date as much as I would like to. Between the 13 hours a day at the office and helping my younger sister plan her wedding there is never any time left over for me to have a personal life. My best girlfriendhas tried setting me up on dates and I have been to a few but with no real time to follow up with these guys I always end up losing contact with them.

What's worse is that I don’t even havea date for my sisters wedding and that is turning into my biggest worry of all. It's bad enough that Deb who is 4 years younger than me and she is getting married first but if I have to show up to her wedding alone I will be the butt of every joke in the room. I normally don’t care much what people say but this makes me feel insecure and I hate feeling that way.

This is where internet dating has come into my life. I joined a site night and hope that I am lucky enough to find one decent guy that can go with me to the wedding in two months. Two months is not a long time but it’s not like I am looking for my soul mate, just a nice guy that can spend one evening with me and my family and help make me look good. I particularly need a guy that looks good, he doesn’t even have to have a great job or money since I don’t plan on staying with him, I only need him for that day.

I also have to make sure that no one ever finds out that I have joined an internet dating site or that I am looking for my date that way. Funny how even though I am the more accomplished of my sister and I and I am the one that has to be pushed to try internet dating just to attend her wedding and not be a joke. This should be an enjoyable fun time in my life, helping my only sister plan the biggest day of her life, but instead it has turned into a disaster. If I don't find my guy on this internet dating site then I am going to be royally screwed.
